In een collegereeks over de kwaliteitszorg van/voor de informatievoorziening uit 1998 (onder inhoudelijke supervisie van Daan Rijsenbrij) werd bovenstaande figuur gebruikt om de zgn. kwaliteitskringloop van de informatievoorziening grafisch weer te geven.
